Adam James Severn

To begin with I use watercolour paint as a wash, then gradually by increasing the layers I can build up depths of colour.
If I need to create textures I apply Acrylic paint. When I’m painting a more detailed piece I use watercolour, pen and ink.

Water colour is very affective for my paintings because I can use the paint as a sense of movement.
Also my use of colour is very important, natural tones of blues, greens and grays have become my signature colours.
