Janice uses texture to convey the infinitely changing shapes of her tree compositions alongside her land and seascapes.  She works mainly in acrylic paint and ink but the delicate use of shimmering pearlescent and metallic powders give a sense of movement to her work. She uses the unpredictable flow of inks which either pool or run through the texture to give each painting its own individuality.
