John aims as a visual artist is to produce contemporary art that can be enjoyed by not just the ‘seasoned art collector’ but anyone who has an appreciation for the aesthetic. His aim as a visual artist is to attract a ‘new audience’ into the often friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the contemporary art gallery.

John Connolly makes an arresting statement with his first exhibition of the year at Leabrooks Gallery! From the 3rd of March until the 1st April, visitors will be able to view and purchase his exhilarating, mixed media sea and landscapes which communicate his enthusiasm for the natural world. Look for the quiet understanding - and sometimes the hint of a story - which lie, half hidden, behind his exuberant use of colour.
