June Haywood

June Haywood (Thorne)

Born and educated in London, June qualified as a teacher in Derby, having specialised in painting and embroidery. She has taught in both primary and secondary education, part-time, whilst her two daughters were young, and has been well- respected as an art tutor in adult education for 25 years.

She is now enjoying life as a professional artist, working mostly in watercolours.

Her paintings are signed with the name THORNE.
